Founded in 1998 by Shaikh Ibrahim Natthumiya, Alqama Education & Welfare Society began with a simple yet powerful vision - to provide free quality education to underprivileged girls in Maharashtra. What started as a small initiative in Malegaon has now grown into a respected organization impacting thousands of lives across multiple districts.

Our Story

Our journey began with the establishment of Diamond Girls High School in Malegaon, providing formal education to girls who otherwise would have limited access to schooling. Recognizing the need for vocational training, we expanded our programs to include skill development initiatives under government schemes.

Today, we operate 18 government projects across Maharashtra with an annual turnover of ₹2 crore, supported by a dedicated team of 53 professionals. Our work has been recognized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, National Skill Development Corporation, and NITI Aayog.

With 27 years of experience in education and social work, Shaikh Ibrahim Natthumiya has been the driving force behind Alqama's growth and impact. Holding an M.A. and B.P.Ed degree, he envisioned an organization that would address educational disparities for girls in rural Maharashtra.

Under his leadership, Alqama has grown from a single school to multiple educational institutions and skill development centers across the state. His dedication to girls' education has transformed thousands of lives and continues to inspire our team.
